I’ve written about this in an article and white paper on our site, but it’s quite simple:
-Content: relevant, keyword-loaded HTML text
-Code: custom, relevant title and META descriptions on top of clean (W3C-compliant) code with HTML navigation, anchor text and ALT tags
-Credibility: quality inbound links on top of an established domain with an expiration date as far out as you can afford.
