On average, how many monthly page views on my website do I need to generate a healty profit? I am will rely mostly on CPM adds, so page views will probably be my best bet.

The short answer is absolute truckloads. Adsense is great for some pocket money, but if you plan to pay your internet bill with it, you’re pushing sh*t uphill.
December 19th, 2009 at 8:34 amIn most cases the page views you need amount to more than your hosting account can handle, so just when things start looking good, you need to upgrade your hosting account to a more expensive one, which eats your adsense profit and more… and then again, when you move up to a dedicated server.
The number of impressions you need to make a buck is more than you’re likely to get. If you can get that many – people will be coming to you, to advertise.
