Of course, the primary objective is “being found” by those who are in the market for their products or services. “The 12 Habits” serves to de-mystify the challenges of SEO in a clear and practical step-by-step guide. Somehow I managed to miss that this was the “Executive” version. Completely useless for anyone who has spent a moment on the internet. No new information or any how-to’s – just basic, big picture ideas on how SEM should work.

I do not understand why other people rated this so high. I learned nothing from this book and I consider myself an average SEO/Web designer. I am sure that people can learn something if they have never been to a website like SEOmoz or SEOChat. For me this book was a complete waste of my money and time. Do not buy if you already know something about web design and SEO.

It is filled with the specifics of where to find out what you ought to know about your site, followed by clear explanations of how to improve your standings–and ultimately, drive your business forward.
